Beck Engineering (BEL) is a civil structural engineering firm based in Calgary, Alberta. We have operated successfully in the Oil & Gas industry since 1976. We offer engineering and drafting services for the Oil & Gas and Construction industries. The services offered focus on industrial facilities world wide with a strong emphasis on facilities in Western Canada. BEL's dedicated team consists of experienced individuals with diverse industry knowledge.

We are registered with APEGGA (Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists & Geophysicists of Alberta), APEGS (Association of Professional Engineers & Geoscientists of Saskatchewan), and APEGBC (Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia). Furthermore, BEL is in good standing with WCB Alberta.

BEL is a family oriented company that was started in 1976 by James (Jim) Beck. In 2000 the company was sold to Shane Newman, P.Eng, Trevor Freeman, P.Eng, and Michael Hayden, P.Eng as principals; all having been part of our team for several years previous. Each specializing in different areas of civil/structural engineering, this trio adds to the dynamic of an already successful company.
