Karman Beal, Intermediate Civil/Structural Engineer. Karman began with BEL in January 2004. She is a graduate of the University of Calgary where she participated in the Engineering Internship Program. Email: karman@beckeng.ab.ca Trevor Freeman, Principal; Civil/Structural Engineer. Trevor brings over 10 years of engineering experience to the BEL team. He has extensive knowledge of rigging practices and the design of flare and vent stacks. Email: trevor@beckeng.ab.ca Brian Gibbs, Junior Engineer. Brian joined the BEL team in January 2011. He graduated from the Schulich School of Engineering at the University of Calgary. Email: brian@beckeng.ab.ca Michael Hayden, Principal; Civil/Structural Engineer. Mike came to BEL in 1998 with an extensive geotechnical background. He has extended his experience to include foundation and structural design in the Oil & Gas industry and his resume includes dynamic analysis of machine foundations and the lead of civil engineering groups on major oil facilities. Jenny joined BEL in November 2011. She as a Masters of Engineering from the University of Calgary as well as a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Science and Technology in Beijing, China. He received his Bachelor of Civil/Structural Engineering Honors Degree Level 8 from the Institute of Technology Sligo in Sligo, Ireland. Justin is also a graduate of Athlone Institute of Technology in Athlone, Ireland where he received his National Diploma in Civil Engineering. He has a background of diverse projects in the Oil & Gas industry that includes design of structures, foundations, retaining walls, and heavy lift rigging studies. Shalon joined our team in September 2011. She brings 8 years of civil/structural design and drafting experience to the BEL team. Jordyn is BEL's second intern having joined the team in May 2011. She expects to graduate from the Schulich School of Engineering at the University of Calgary in April 2013.
